Nigerian rapper Ice Prince Zamani has opened up about his past financial struggles with marijuana addiction. During a candid interview on the Black Box podcast, the ‘Aboki’ hitmaker disclosed that he spent a staggering N340 million on cannabis from a single dealer between 2020 and 2026.
This amount, he emphasized, only accounts for purchases from one local supplier in Lagos. He further noted that additional expenditures from other dealers based in Abuja, Jos, Ghana, and London were not included in this figure. “From 2020 to 2026, I have spent N340 million on weed from just one dealer alone, not to mention my other dealers from Abuja, Ghana, Jos, and London. This is just one dealer, who lives close to me in Lagos,” he stated during the podcast.
The revelation came as Ice Prince discussed his transformative journey toward better health and self-discovery. As part of his lifestyle overhaul, he decided to quit smoking and alcohol, which led to significant weight loss. He also disclosed that he has been practicing celibacy for some time now.
