Tochukwu Nnadi has made it clear that the Super Eagles have no intention of letting go of the Unity Cup trophy. The Nigerian national team has emerged victorious in the past two editions of this invitational competition. This Saturday, they are set to clash with Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz in the final at the Valley.
Nnadi, a defensive midfielder for Olympique Marseille, played an instrumental role in Nigeria’s 2-0 semifinal triumph over Jamaica on Tuesday night in London. He is now fully focused on ensuring the team retains the title.
“Our goal is to win the Unity Cup. I don’t want to talk about the matches against Poland and Portugal just yet. First, we need to complete the task here, and then we can think about what happens in Poland and Portugal,” Nnadi stated during an interview with the Super Eagles’ media team.
