The Jamaica national team has made a strategic addition to its squad for the Unity Cup final against Nigeria’s Super Eagles. Manchester United’s left-back Dante Plunkett has been drafted in at the eleventh hour, as confirmed by DAILY POST.
This marks Plunkett’s first ever call-up to the Reggae Boyz setup. The 18-year-old defender transferred from Aston Villa to Manchester United in 2024 and went on to feature 15 times for the club’s Under-18 team during the 2025/26 campaign across all competitions.
Plunkett is slated to link up with the Jamaican squad in London on Friday. The Reggae Boyz, managed by Rudolph Speid, are set to battle the Super Eagles in the Unity Cup final on Saturday at The Valley stadium in Charlton.
