Salah now shares the fourth position on the all-time list of African players for combined goals and assists in FIFA World Cup tournaments. He trails behind Ghana’s Asamoah Gyan, who leads with six goals and three assists, and Cameroon’s Roger Milla, who has five goals and one assist. Tunisia’s Wahbi Khazri also sits above Salah with three goals and two assists.
