Andoni Iraola has voiced his delight after officially taking over as the head coach of Liverpool. On Thursday, the Spanish tactician signed a two-year contract at Anfield, succeeding Arne Slot, who was dismissed from his role.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Iraola said, “I’m absolutely buzzing, truly thrilled. You know what Liverpool represents—it’s a massive institution, one of the greatest in world football.”
The 42-year-old brings Premier League experience to the table, having previously managed Bournemouth. Now, his focus is on guiding the Reds to the Premier League title in the upcoming season.
