EFCC Brings Fresh Charges Against Blessing CEO Over N13m Cancer Scam

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has once again brought controversial self-proclaimed relationship guru Blessing CEO before the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos State. This latest legal action, occurring on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, centers on allegations of a N13 million cancer fraud and the manipulation of medical documents.

According to the EFCC, the case stems from multiple complaints lodged by various individuals and organizations, including the Nigeria Cancer Society. In an official statement released via Instagram, the commission revealed it has filed a fresh six-count charge related to obtaining money through false pretenses and retaining proceeds derived from illegal activities.

The EFCC elaborated that donors contributed funds after Blessing CEO posted claims that she was suffering from stage 4 breast cancer. However, it was later discovered that the medical certificate she showed the public had been falsified.

This development comes just one day after Blessing CEO was arraigned in a separate case involving an alleged N69.1 million tenancy fraud.
