Isime stressed that she serves no mortal being and therefore feels no need to perform for anyone. She explained that she prefers to discover God on her own terms and always maintains her independent thinking. “I don’t serve mortals, so I don’t have the need to perform for them,” she said. “I will always think for myself and do my own thing. I figure out God for myself. Of course, I listen to preachers like Apostle Joshua Selman. If you understand the kind of preachers I follow, you’ll see where I’m coming from. I am not your typical Nigerian Christian, and I don’t want to be. I have my own mindset, just like Jesus.”
