Obi stated, “I am not desperate to be president of Nigeria. He described his deep concern for the lack of opportunities and the rampant corruption that plagues the country.
“I am desperate to see young people have a means of livelihood. I am desperate to see people stop stealing public money. I am desperate to see Nigeria work,” he added, underscoring that his motivation stems from a desire for national transformation, not personal gain.
