Super Falcons’ shot-stopper Chiamaka Nnadozie has set her sights on clinching the Women’s Super League Golden Glove award during her debut season with Brighton. The Nigerian international, who joined the Seagulls as a free agent last summer, has already impressed with six clean sheets across 18 league matches.
Nnadozie currently trails behind Ayaka Yamashita, Hannah Hampton, and Phallon Tullis-Joyce, each of whom has recorded seven shutouts. Despite the tight competition, the 24-year-old remains determined to top the standings. Her standout performances have earned her the WSL Save of the Month honor on two occasions this season.
Beyond individual accolades, Nnadozie is also chasing her first club trophy with Brighton. The team is set to face Liverpool in the Women’s FA Cup semifinal on Sunday at BrewDog Stadium, a crucial step toward silverware.
