The Nigerian Falconets have learned their opponents for the group stage of the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup. During the official draw held on Friday in Lodz, Poland, they were placed in Group F alongside Spain, China, and New Caledonia.

This marks the 12th edition of the biennial tournament. Nigeria’s Women’s U-20 team has never missed a single edition since the competition began.

For the Falconets, the goal is clear: secure their first world title after finishing as runners-up twice in previous tournaments. The team has consistently performed well on the global stage.

Matches in Poland will be hosted across four cities: Bielsko-Biała, Katowice, Lodz, and Sosnowiec. The competition is scheduled to run from September 5 to 27, 2026.

With Spain being a strong contender, China offering a tactical challenge, and New Caledonia as debutants, Group F promises intriguing contests. The Falconets will aim to top the group and advance deep into the knockout stages.
