According to the 30-year-old artist, the decision was rooted in the belief that marriage should be a mutual agreement rather than a one-sided plea.
He stated, “I did not go down on my knees when proposing because I explained to her that it was a joint decision. We are not begging each other to be together.” The couple tied the knot in a private Lagos ceremony in November 2023. Made also shared that his wife was once his “school daughter,” a term used for junior students in Nigerian universities.
