Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville has expressed his confidence that Arsenal will emerge as Premier League champions this season. Speaking at the Emirates Stadium before Arsenal’s final home match against Burnley, Neville stated that the Gunners are poised to clinch the title.
Arsenal, managed by Mikel Arteta, have the opportunity to extend their lead over Manchester City to five points if they defeat Burnley, who have already been relegated. Should City fail to secure a victory against Bournemouth on Tuesday, Arsenal would be crowned champions immediately; otherwise, the title race will be decided on the final day of the season.
Neville commented on Arsenal’s prospects, saying, “They will get the job done.” He cautioned against complacency, noting that no Premier League fixture can be taken for granted. However, he added, “This is the culmination of five or six years of hard work by Mikel Arteta and the club. They are so close now. In a week’s time, the Premier League trophy will be theirs.”
