In a recent controversy, social media personality VeryDarkMan has addressed accusations made by former BBNaija winner Phyna. On Sunday, Phyna alleged that VeryDarkMan withdrew from handling his late sister’s legal case because she refused his sexual advances, according to reports.
VeryDarkMan responded via an Instagram video, denying the claim. He stated that he never propositioned Phyna, but then questioned why it would be considered wrong if he had. He argued that both are consenting adults, emphasizing that Phyna is not a minor. He pointed out that if he had made such a request, it would be a matter of seeking consent, not coercion or assault.
“Phyna said that I, VeryDarkMan, wanted to sleep with her. She said she has evidence. I would like to see that evidence first, because I have never told her such a thing,” he said in the video. He further added, “What if I did tell her? Both of us are adults. Asking for consent is the proper way to go about these things, and thank goodness she is not underage.” He also noted that neither of them is married, so a request for intimacy would be between two single individuals.
