Dursun Özbek Stands Firm: No €150m Sale for Victor Osimhen

Galatasaray’s president, Dursun Özbek, has made it unmistakably clear that the club will not entertain any offers for their star striker, Victor Osimhen, despite a massive €150 million proposal from Atletico Madrid. The Nigerian forward, who has been a pivotal figure in Galatasaray’s recent domestic successes, continues to attract interest from numerous European giants, yet the club’s leadership refuses to part with him.

Özbek’s stance was emphatic when questioned about the possibility of negotiating a deal at such a high price. He stated that Osimhen was never acquired with the intention of being sold, emphasizing the player’s immense value both on and off the pitch. According to Özbek, Osimhen’s deep affection for Galatasaray and his happiness at the club are paramount, and the board envisions him wearing the Galatasaray jersey for years to come.

The Nigerian international joined Galatasaray from Napoli and has since played a crucial role in securing back-to-back Turkish Super Lig titles. His performances have not gone unnoticed, with clubs like Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona, Chelsea, Juventus, and Manchester United all linked with a move. However, Özbek’s firm declaration signals that Osimhen remains a non-negotiable asset for the Turkish champions.
