Nasarawa United’s technical adviser, Mbwas Mangut, has declared that his squad is fully concentrated and prepared for the President Federation Cup semi-final encounter against Ikorodu City. The highly anticipated match is scheduled to take place at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City on Wednesday.
Mangut emphasized that his players must channel the frustration of missing out on continental qualification in the 2025-26 Nigeria Premier Football League into a positive performance against Ikorodu City. He acknowledged the challenge ahead, describing the opposition as a young, energetic, and compact side that showcased quality throughout the league season.
“There are no easy matches at this stage of the FA Cup,” Mangut stated. “We know this will be a tough game, but we are determined to give our best.” He stressed the importance of converting scoring opportunities and avoiding costly mistakes. “The team that takes its chances will win.
