In a letter addressed to the PDP leadership at state and local government levels, dated April 30, 2026, and released to the press on Friday by his media aide Afolabi Orekoya, Adebutu expressed his intention to run again under the PDP banner.
The letter, directed to the Ogun State PDP Chairman through the party’s leadership in Odogbolu Local Government Area, thanked party members for their steadfast support and loyalty. Adebutu underscored the importance of unity and a shared vision as the party prepares for the next electoral cycle.
