The Flying Antelopes have signaled their readiness as they gear up for the 2026 President Federation Cup. The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side is set to face Godswill Akpabio FC, a team from the Nigeria National League (NNL), in the Round of 64.
This eagerly anticipated match is scheduled for Tuesday, 19 May, at the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba. The club took to social media to announce: “Our President Federation Cup journey starts with a Round of 64 contest against Godswill Akpabio FC. We are prepared for the battle. We are ready for the test.”
Reflecting on past performances, the Enugu-based club reached the semi-finals in last year’s edition of the competition. Their most recent triumph in Nigeria’s oldest football tournament came in 2018, and they are eager to add another title to their collection.
