Abdu Maikaba, the newly appointed head coach of Nigeria’s Under-20 Flying Eagles, has described his appointment as a tremendous honor. The seasoned tactician was chosen to guide the seven-time African champions two weeks ago and will lead the squad at the upcoming 2025 WAFU B U-20 Championship scheduled for July.
Having previously served as an assistant coach for both the Flying Eagles and the Golden Eaglets, Nigeria’s U-17 team, Maikaba views this new role as a significant opportunity.
