Chelle's Single Tweak: Super Eagles Lineup for Unity Cup Final vs Jamaica

Super Eagles head coach Éric Chelle has opted for a solitary alteration to his starting eleven ahead of the Unity Cup final showdown against Jamaica tonight. The Nigerian gaffer is banking on the same core group that secured a semi-final triumph over Zimbabwe, with only one attacking switch.

Pisa striker Rafiu Durosinmi gets the nod over Philip Otele to lead the line. Durosinmi, who came off the bench in the previous match, now earns a starting berth as the focal point of the attack.

Wrexham shot-stopper Arthur Okonkwo retains his place between the sticks, a testament to his consistent performances. The defensive unit remains unchanged, with Kenneth Igboke, Igoh Ogbu, Chibuike Nwaiwu, and Chibueze Oputa forming the backline.

In midfield, the trio of Tochukwu Nnadi, Alhassan Yusuf, and Samson Tijani continues their partnership, providing stability and creativity in the center of the park. Millwall winger Femi Azeez and Terem Moffi, who captains the side, complete the attacking lineup alongside Durosinmi.

The confirmed Super Eagles XI for the final is as follows: Arthur Okonkwo; Oputa, Igboke, Nwaiwu, Ogbu; Nnadi, Tijani, Yusuf, Azeez; Durosinmi, Moffi (C).
