Coach Moses Aduku’s side carries a comfortable 2-0 advantage from the first leg, played last weekend at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne. The win puts Nigeria in a strong position to secure a spot in the World Cup, scheduled for Poland in September.
The Falconets have shown impressive form away from home throughout the qualifying campaign. They secured a 1-0 victory over Rwanda in the first round and followed that with a 2-1 win against Senegal in the second round, both on the road.
Malawi, known as the Young Scorchers, will be eager to overturn the deficit in front of their home fans. The winners of this two-legged tie will book their ticket to the global tournament in Poland.
