Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, has dropped a bombshell on Christendom by revealing that God does not love Christians. In a debate with Daddy Freeze, entitled "Daddy Freeze Debates Reno Omokri: Should Christians Celebrate Christmas?", Reno argued that God loves Muslims particularly because they are obedient to Him and faithful to their scripture.


Christians, on the other hand, are alien to God, disobedient, unfaithful and impious. He ended his argument by begging Christians not to assassinate him.

El Salvador's President, Nayib Bukele, has just announced that his country, El Salvador, has purchased 200 Bitcoins ($10,364,780). He made the announcement via his Twitter handle, @nayibbukele. He also revealed that more coins will be purchased as the deadline approaches.

This is coming in preparation of the 7 September Cryptocurrency adoption date as El Salvador will become the first country to recognize Bitcoin as a legal tender on that day.

Meanwhile, Bitcoin has broken $52,000.

The bulls intensified their greens after El Salvador's government offered free $30 (£22) airdrop in bitcoins to encourage citizens to use its national wallet.

Over 200 ATMs are being installed across the country to enable citizens convert fiat to Bitcoin.

Fresh facts have emerged on how IPOB/ESN members set ablaze a trailer loaded with goods worth millions. Genesis News had earlier reported that some hoodlums on Monday hijacked a trailer in Obukpa, Nsukka Enugu state. The trailer was later incinerated on the ground that it violated the sit-at-home order issued by the leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB. The order, however, has long been suspended, but factional leaders in the group's hierarchy continue to support and promote it.

An eyewitness who witnessed the incident has narrated what actually happened. While earlier reports narrated how the trailer was burnt, this fresh fact reveals more details.

According to the eyewitness, a popular Igbo figure on Twitter, Maazi Ogbonnaya Okoro,

"He was killed by his brothers, claiming to be freedom fighters.

Who?

He had the highest plastic and stainless shop in Eke Ọkpọsị. An Ezza man living in Ọnịcha Igboeze that you will not even know he's not from Ọnịcha. This guy started from nothing and became something.

He bought a big truck which he used to convey his goods from one place to the other. He had the biggest shop in Eke Ọkpọsị and every other markets in Ọhaọzara.

Monday was sit-at-home. He received a call and was told that sit-at-home had been cancelled.

He was told to go and supply goods.

On that very Monday, he left Ọnịcha-Igboeze with his 6 Ụmụ boyi only for them to be intercepted by some hooligans claiming to be enforcing the order and fighting for freedom.

What happened?

This man was butchered and slaughtered like an animal including his boys at Anike-Ọnịcha before getting to Uburu. Only one managed to escape with wounds. His cars and goods were set ablaze.

The question is, who do us this? Are we going to get our freedom by killing ourselves?

If that is freedom I am not interested in it. I think these people using this avenue to perpetrate this evil should be held accountable. This is barbaric and condemnable.

How can you kill your brother, destroy him, destroy his goods and claim you are fighting for freedom?

I know this man in person. If you really know him, you will understand that he's a free man who doesn't look for trouble. He's a hustler and also a victim of bad leadership and everything everyone is passing through.

Now, the overzealous idiots have killed him,

claiming he faulted sit-at-home order. You that is going from road to road, looking for who doesn't sit-at-home are you not the one faulting the order? Why can't you too sit your ass at home as well? Who gave you work to kill your brother in the name of enforcing order?

Is killing him the best way to go about it?

You see me ba, I will never keep quiet when things aren't going well. I can't betray my conscience. This is pure madness. Maiming those you claim to fight for their freedom.

Members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have embarked on a massive community improvement exercise in Ghana. They were sighted cleaning up filthy drains, canals, while calling on the Ghanaian government to release their members in return.

The Ghanaian police, last month, stormed their meeting venue and arrested scores.

Sources revealed to Genesis News that the arrest is not unconnected to the high rate of criminal activities around the vicinity.

"Criminals hide under 'IPOB meeting' to plot their evil schemes" one of the sources noted.

IPOB DOS REACTS

Meanwhile, the Directorate of State, DOS, has reacted to the arrest. In a statement signed by its deputy head, Mazi Chukwuemeka Nzurumike, it condemned in strong terms their arrest and continued detention.

The full statement reads:

"Attention please!

The directorate of state of the indigenous people of Biafra wishes to familiarize all and sundry that relentless efforts are being deployed in ensuring the total release of the innocent Biafran citizens with legal domiciliation in Ghana. Their freedom was arbitrarily violated recently in what appeared to be in connivance with the oppressive and crumbling regime in Abuja.

Biafrans in Ghana have always cherished their host country known for its remarkable avowed qualities of civility amongs countries of sub-sahara Africa.

However, the DOS condemns in strong terms this cruel treatment recently meted out with insularity and parochialism disregarding the rule of law. As a matter of urgency, we call on our friendly nation, Ghana to countermand this unsusceptible approach that reduces the Ghanaian graceful creed that sums up in defense of freedom, rights, and a crave for true humility.

Biafrans will continue to remain democratically oriented, be law abiding and promote peace in all host countries around the globe! Thank you and may God bless Biafra!

A source code within Twitter beta suggests that a tipping service has been implemented and being tested. The service, which is strike enabled, would enable users to send and receive tips in Bitcoin.

Strike is an application that enables users to send Bitcoin at close to zero costs. As the leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, sinks deeper into crisis, members are considering jumping ship to avoid being totally consumed by the inevitable crash. The movement is said to be split into several splinter groups. Each of the groups laying claim to the leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra. But only two command more followership : The Chika Edoziem and the Simon Ekpa factions.

Chika Edoziem is the head of the Directorate of State, a powerful governing body formed by Nnamdi Kanu. One of its major principles is the "Command and Control" mechanism. An animal-farm-like mechanism used to manipulate the minds of its members. Erring, or more appropriately, independent-minded members are regarded as 'Sabos' for daring to challenge the mechanism. But here's the problem: despite heading such a powerful group, Edoziem is 'powerless' as he lacks the charisma and guts of Nnamdi Kanu. He's more of an introvert. Perhaps, his appointment was a deliberate action by Nnamdi Kanu to avoid a repeat of his sacked deputy, Uche Mefor. Kanu may have intentionally chosen a weak head of DOS so as to rule unchecked and still not be accused of being authoritarian.

Simon Ekpa on the other hand, though a one-man squad, is the complete opposite of Chika Edoziem. Even though he holds no position in the hierarchy - in fact he was recently disowned by the group - he wields more power over the members than the governing body, DOS. He's eloquent, charismatic and charming. His 'autopilot movement' swept away IPOB's 'Command and Control' mechanism. The 'weekly Monday's sit-at-home' order is a perfect example. Simon used 'autopilot' to savage Edoziem's 'Command and Control' until the center could no longer be held. This was the last straw that broke the camel's back.

If the massive loyalty, the attention, the prestige Simon Ekpa attracts put Edoziem's pride in the coffin, the autopilot movement nailed it. It was a massive blow to not just Edoziem, but the entire DOS hierarchy.

To checkmate this and clip Ekpa's wings, the DOS embarked on a campaign of calumny against Ekpa. Radio Biafra, a notorious propaganda machine set up by Kanu was hurriedly converted into a gossip mill where all kinds of calumnious reports were manufactured to tarnish Ekpa's image.

According to a source in the hierarchy, the campaign was designed to force Ekpa to surrender his support base to the DOS. This was the so-called conditions he was asked to meet. But Ekpa, being smarter refused, insisting he will broadcast on the radio without any condition. Angered by his defiance, Edoziem and his allies kicked him out of the station and subsequently disowned him publicly to humiliate him.

But Mr. Ekpa already knew that was coming. He and his top allies mobilized to create their own live streaming platform under a bigger banner called "Enterbiafra". A top source informed this writer that the platform is the final step before Ekpa's own group is formed.

Ekpa, the source revealed, at first didn't buy the idea of forming a splinter group. But as things began to get clearer and persuasion heightened, he gave in.

A video of the arrested IPOB members singing in a police van after being arrested today in Ghana has surfaced on social media.

In the video, the secessionists are heard singing:

"We are Biafrans,
Fighting for our freedom,
In the name of Jesus
We shall conquer"

The reason for their arrest is still sketchy, but according to our sources, they were arrested at Mallam Junction in Ghana for convening a meeting.

The leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra is yet to comment on the development.
