Kwara United’s head coach, Ashifat Suleiman, has urged his squad to maintain their championship mindset as they prepare for the President Federation Cup Round of 64. The defending champions are set to face Sporting Supreme U-19 on Tuesday at Prince Abubakar Audu University in Kogi.
Speaking to the club’s media, Suleiman emphasized the importance of focus and determination to avoid an upset. “As champions, we need to play with total concentration and the spirit of winners,” he stated.
Kwara United secured the 2025 title with a narrow 1-0 victory over Abakaliki FC at Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos, ending a 49-year trophy drought and earning a spot in the CAF Confederation Cup.
