N2M Bonus: Niger Tornadoes Players Incentivized to Top Kwara United

The Niger State government has unveiled a substantial financial incentive for Niger Tornadoes players ahead of their crucial Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) showdown with Kwara United. A total bonus of N2 million has been set aside to spur the team to victory in the match scheduled for Sunday.

Speaking in Minna on Thursday, Danjuma Abdul Masu, Chairman of the State Sports Commission, outlined the reward structure. Each player will receive N100,000 for every goal scored or assist made, the technical crew will earn N500,000, and support staff members will be rewarded with N100,000 each.

Abdul Masu emphasized that this generous bonus is designed to elevate the players’ morale and drive them to secure a win at the Bako Kontagora Stadium. Currently, Niger Tornadoes occupy 14th place on the league table with 43 points, just three points above the relegation danger zone, making this fixture critical for their survival hopes.

The match against Kwara United is seen as a must-win for the Tornadoes, and the cash incentive is expected to ignite a determined performance from the home side.
