Nasarawa United will be without midfielder Jofrank Istifanus for their President Federation Cup semifinal against Ikorodu City. Technical adviser Mbwas Mangut confirmed that Istifanus is sidelined with a groin issue.
Mangut expressed confidence that the squad possesses adequate depth to compensate for Istifanus’s absence. He noted that the team has remained largely injury-free except for the midfielder’s setback.
“We have been quite lucky with injuries, only Jofrank Istifanus has been struggling with a groin problem,” Mangut revealed. “However, we have capable replacements ready to step in.”
The coach also vowed that his side will display full commitment in the crucial encounter. “I guarantee that we will approach the game with maximum determination to make our supporters across Nasarawa State and beyond proud,” he added.
The match is scheduled for Wednesday at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City.
