Emeka Obioma, a forward for Abia Warriors, has voiced his deep disappointment over the team’s inability to secure a spot in continental tournaments. The Umuahia-based club’s aspirations were dashed following consecutive losses in recent fixtures.
The striker described the outcome as both unfortunate and heartbreaking. Speaking to Completesports, Obioma said, “It’s really tough to accept. We held onto our ambition all season, but we lost momentum at a crucial stage.”
He added, “That’s the harsh nature of football. We didn’t anticipate losing to Kun Khalifat—that was a significant blow and a real disappointment.”
