Pep Guardiola Comments on Man City Future After Arsenal Title Win

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has indicated that his future at the club will be decided at the end of the current season. Following reports that he could depart this weekend after the final home match against Aston Villa, Guardiola remained noncommittal.

City’s hopes of retaining the Premier League title were dashed after a 1-1 draw with Bournemouth on Tuesday night, effectively handing the trophy to Arsenal. Speaking to Sky Sports, Guardiola said, “I have one more year on my contract. We have enjoyed many successful seasons. The chairman must speak first. At the end of the season, we will discuss and make a decision.”

Despite the speculation, the Spanish tactician expressed his happiness at Manchester City, stating, “I am the happiest man on the planet to be part of this extraordinary club.” Guardiola’s comments come amid growing rumors about his future, but he stressed that talks would only occur after the season concludes.
