AC Milan legend Andrea Pirlo has highlighted a key advantage for Arsenal as they prepare to face Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League final. The Italian tactician believes the Gunners’ strength in aerial duels could be a decisive factor.
Pirlo noted that Arsenal possess at least three players who are exceptionally strong in the air: defenders Gabriel and William Saliba, as well as striker Kai Havertz. According to him, these players give Arsenal a significant edge when it comes to set pieces and crosses.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Pirlo explained that Arsenal has the ability to exploit these situations because they study them meticulously. In contrast, PSG lacks players with similar jumping ability, meaning they will have to find alternative solutions to counter Arsenal’s aerial threat.
