Real Madrid Transfers: Mourinho Approves Three Major Signings

In a significant development for Real Madrid, incoming manager Jose Mourinho has reportedly given his seal of approval for the club to secure three new defensive reinforcements. The LaLiga giants are poised to bolster their backline after the departures of key players like David Alaba and captain Dani Carvajal.

According to renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Mourinho has greenlit the deals for Ibrahima Konate and Denzel Dumfries. Konate, who left Liverpool as a free agent, is set to join Madrid, while the club will trigger Dumfries’s €20 million release clause at Inter Milan. Romano stated on X, ‘José Mourinho has approved both Konaté and Dumfries deals for Real Madrid. The Special One appreciates both and Real Madrid could try one more defensive signing if the right opportunity appears on the market.’

Mourinho is reportedly eyeing an additional defensive player to further strengthen the squad before the summer window closes. The need for reinforcements became urgent following the exits of Alaba and Carvajal, leaving gaps in central defense and full-back positions.

The Portuguese manager’s approval marks a clear strategy to rebuild the defense under his leadership, with Konate and Dumfries expected to provide immediate quality. The club remains active in the market, searching for a third option to complete the overhaul.
