Nollywood actor Saga Adeolu has opened up about his personal feelings regarding on-screen kisses, stating that he would avoid them entirely if he could. In a candid chat on the Nolly Icons podcast, the reality TV star dispelled the common belief that actors relish such scenes, explaining that most performers find them awkward and only participate to enhance the narrative.
Adeolu confessed that despite appearing in numerous romantic films, he has yet to experience a good on-screen kiss. “Kissing a fellow actor isn’t enjoyable—it’s strange. Having someone’s saliva in your mouth is unpleasant. People assume we love it, but we don’t; we’re simply serving the story. If I had a choice, I would never kiss in a film. I once kissed four different actresses on the same day,” he disclosed.
He further emphasized that actors deserve appreciation for enduring such scenes rather than facing criticism.
