
The Super Falcons camp in Ikenne has seen a significant boost with the arrival of 11 additional players ahead of their upcoming friendly matches against Senegal. According to reports from DAILY POST, the Nigerian women’s national team is now better prepared for the double-header.
The latest group of players to join the camp includes Joy Omewa, Oluwatosin Demehin, Toni Payne, Blessing Illivieda, Folashade Ijamilusi, Anderline Mgbechi, Ngozi Okobi-Okeoghene, and Omorinsola Babajide. These players add depth and experience to the squad as they prepare for the test matches.
They have linked up with the earlier arrivals Shukurat Oladipo, Kafayat Shittu, and Asisat Oshoala, who were already in camp preparing for the games. The team is still awaiting the arrival of an additional 12 players, which will complete the full roster for the friendlies.
The Super Falcons are scheduled to hold their first official training session later this evening as they fine-tune their strategies for the matches against Senegal. Both encounters will take place at the Remo Stars Sports Complex in Ikenne, with the first game set for Friday and the second fixture scheduled for next Monday.
