Jurgen Klopp has no intention of taking over as manager of Real Madrid, according to his agent. The former Liverpool boss is content in his current role with Red Bull and has no plans to return to club coaching.

Reports had linked Klopp with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu after Enrique Riquelme, a candidate in Real Madrid’s upcoming presidential election, pledged to appoint the German if he wins. However, Marc Kosicke, who represents Klopp, dismissed the speculation as tiresome.

Speaking to Sky Germany, Kosicke stated that Klopp is not planning a return to the dugout and is happy with his responsibilities at Red Bull. The 57-year-old has been out of club management since leaving Liverpool in the summer of 2024.

Riquelme’s promise was seen as a bold attempt to sway voters ahead of Sunday’s election, where he faces incumbent Florentino Perez. But Klopp’s camp has made it clear that the German is not interested in the role, putting an end to any immediate speculation.

Nigerian midfielder Onuche Ogbelu has officially signed with Libyan club Al-Ittihad SC on a permanent transfer, as reported by DAILY POST. The 23-year-old defensive midfielder committed to a three-year contract after leaving Tunisian side Esperance, following the expiration of his previous deal.
