Arsenal’s Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus is reportedly being considered as a primary summer transfer target by Premier League rivals Everton. Despite limited attacking options at the Emirates, the 29-year-old has struggled to secure consistent playing time under manager Mikel Arteta.
According to Football Insider, the Toffees have identified Jesus as a key acquisition for the upcoming transfer window. However, Everton are hesitant to match Arsenal’s £20 million asking price for the striker.
Jesus currently sits behind Viktor Gyokeres and Kai Havertz in Arteta’s attacking hierarchy. His contract with the North London side runs until 2027, giving him less than a year remaining on his current deal.
The former Manchester City star joined Arsenal in 2022 but has failed to establish himself as the club’s first-choice striker, leading to speculation about his future.
