Serie A side Genoa are once again targeting Blackburn Rovers’ Nigerian defender Ryan Alebiosu, according to reliable sources. The Italian club had previously tried to secure his services during the January transfer window but saw their €5 million bid rejected by the Championship outfit.
Reports from Tuttomercato indicate that Genoa will launch a fresh offensive for the 24-year-old when the summer market opens. Blackburn Rovers are believed to be more open to negotiations this time around, having successfully secured their status in the Sky Bet Championship for the upcoming season.
A bid similar to the one tabled in January could be enough to convince the Rovers to part ways with the Nigeria international. Alebiosu featured prominently for the Blue and Whites in the 2025/26 campaign, making 41 league appearances and contributing one goal and five assists.
