Officer Woos Refutes Claims of Announcing Broda Shaggy's Death

Nigerian online personality Officer Woos has firmly dismissed rumors that he declared the passing of his fellow content creator, Broda Shaggy. The speculation emerged after an X user, @Ghost91on, alleged that Officer Woos had posted about Shaggy’s death on Instagram.

According to reports, the X account shared a photo of Broda Shaggy two days ago, claiming that Officer Woos had used his Instagram page to announce the demise of his colleague. The post quickly went viral, prompting a response from Officer Woos.

In a direct rebuttal, Officer Woos took to his Instagram story, posting a screenshot of the viral claim and simply labeling it as false. To further address the matter, his legal representatives, Versed Attorneys, issued a formal statement on his behalf.

The statement read: “We act as solicitors to Mr. Jubril Oladapo Gbadamosi, also known as Officer Woos, a respected content creator and public figure. We issue this statement in response to false and malicious publications circulating on social media, particularly X (formerly Twitter). Our client has never announced the death of any colleague, friend, or associate on any of his platforms. These publications are entirely fabricated and represent a deliberate attempt to mislead the public.”

The content creator has also threatened to take legal action against those responsible for spreading the misinformation. This controversy comes three months after Broda Shaggy was shot while filming at the Sango Ota Bridge in Ogun State in March 2026. Since the incident, Shaggy has not made any public statements regarding his condition.
