Opta SuperComputer Predicts Spain to Win 2026 World Cup

According to the Opta SuperComputer, Spain is the frontrunner to lift the 2026 FIFA World Cup trophy. The algorithm gives La Roja a 16.0% chance of claiming the title, making them the favorites among all participating nations.

The Spanish squad, led by coach Luis de la Fuente, enters the tournament as the reigning European champions and has been widely tipped by analysts to conquer the globe. They are drawn in Group H alongside debutants Cape Verde, Uruguay, and Saudi Arabia.

France sits second in the SuperComputer’s rankings with a 12.9% probability of winning, while England follows closely behind at 10.8%, hoping to end their 60-year drought since their 1966 triumph.

The tournament is set to kick off on Thursday night, with co-host Mexico facing South Africa in the opening match.
