APC Raises Alarm Over Fake Court Ruling Disqualifying Okpebholo from Edo Governorship Election

With less than 24 hours to the Edo State Governorship Election set for September 21, 2024, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has raised an alarm over a fake court ruling circulating online, falsely claiming that their candidate, Senator Monday Okpebholo (Akpakomiza), has been disqualified. The party, in a statement released by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, condemned the ruling as a fabricated attempt to mislead the electorate and disrupt the democratic process.

IMG-20240920-WA0027.jpg

Morka expressed deep concerns about the spread of the false information, calling it a "desperate act" designed to confuse voters on the eve of the election. He emphasized that Senator Okpebholo remains the legitimate and undisputed APC standard-bearer, urging voters to disregard any claims to the contrary. "This fake news is meant to sow seeds of doubt and subvert the will of the Edo electorate. It must be thoroughly rejected by the good and discerning people of Edo State," Morka said, stressing that no court had issued such a ruling.

IMG-20240920-WA0026.jpg

The APC also called on law enforcement agencies to swiftly investigate the origin of the fabricated ruling and bring those responsible to justice. Morka reaffirmed the party's faith in the electoral process and urged Edo voters to stay vigilant and resolute. "We trust that the Edo people will reject these illegal devices aimed at derailing the election," he added. As the state gears up for election day, the APC remains confident in Senator Okpebholo’s chances and encouraged citizens to cast their votes based on truth and integrity.

In a Groundbreaking Open Letter, Mc Orobo Explores the Incredible Journey of Pastor Korede Komaiya, the Most Accomplished Pastor Released by Bishop Oy

IMG-20240919-WA0023.jpg

OPEN LETTER FROM MC OROBO ON WHY PASTOR KOREDE KOMAIYA IS UNDOUBTEDLY THE MOST SUCCESSFUL OF THE PASTORS BISHOP OYEDEPO RELEASED.

Life is a drama of sorts. Have you ever wondered why several students sit in the same hall for years and on graduation, only few can be counted as truly successful? The answer can be unveiled from the story of one erudite personality who is currently making waves globally.

Pastor Korede Komaiya, Presiding Pastor of The Master’s Place International Church, spent twenty productive years serving and being tutored, under the Icon of Faith, Bishop David Oyedepo of the Living Faith Church Worldwide. So successful and evidently useful was his service stint, the Bishop himself affirmed, “you never gave me pain all these years”.

IMG-20240919-WA0017.jpg

While some other pastors saw themselves as salary earners, Pastor Korede Komaiya saw himself as a partaker with the undertaker. In other words, he saw himself as one called alongside Bishop Oyedepo, and this mind positioning led to his taking the assignment so seriously that he considered no sacrifice too big provided it was going to further the course of God’s Servant, the Bishop.

So dogged was his followership that at a point he stopped using his monthly salary for himself, He considered it only proper to give it back to the accounts office for projects in church. Also, he wouldn’t stop sowing relentlessly into the life of Bishop David Oyedepo, whom he considers his revered father in the Lord.

Some pastors had the impudence of refusing to be posted to certain locations whenever they received a letter to that effect, or 'disappearing from the radar' when they arrive at beautiful foreign postings. Pastor Korede Komaiya never considered any posting a form of punishment. He always dived headlong into it as a faithful and diligent missionary whether in the deserts of West Africa, the Muslim north or rural westlands of Nigeria or the seemingly more attractive cities in the southern parts of Africa, always coming back to base with outstanding results in record time. It has always been his habit to never complain, even when he would pass through obvious hardship in some of these terrains.

Indeed, we can rightly say that grace found Pastor Korede Komaiya and his amiable wife, Pastor Esther Komaiya because of unrivalled loyalty and diligent service.

Till date, it is always his habit to sow financial and material seeds of honor to the Bishop and even extending same to Mummy Faith Oyedepo and the entire family. Should we make mention of cars? He has continually sowed not a few luxurious brands to this great Man of God. Should we speak of landed properties? Not a few!

Bishop Oyedepo will not be hosting a major global event that will not attract the religious attention of Pastor Korede Komaiya. In the twinkling of an eye, he will be at Canaan land to attend. Nothing will make him host a program at his church during such periods. Pastor KK as he is popularly called, would disconnect from anyone that so much as mentions Bishop Oyedepo's name in the slightest shadow of a bad light. No one dare speak condescendingly of this icon in his presence. It will mean the inglorious end of a relationship with such a person. Wherever he goes, he would defend Bishop Oyedepo with all his might. As a firm believer in the concept of ‘Full Identification’ with a proven carrier of grace, he follows Bishop Oyedepo unashamedly without reservations in his heart. No wonder today, none can dare Pastor KK and not receive a fatal judgemental punishment from God. It is the case of a loyal son, on whom an inheritance of 'touch not' has been bestowed.

At a time, Papa (Bishop Oyedepo) asked and declared, "Komaiya, is it me you have honoured like this? Come up to my level!". We are all witnesses to the obvious outcome of this fatherly pronouncement. Pastor KK has entered a cruising level of grace ever since.

Pastor Korede Komaiya has always believed that God will reward the "partaker with the undertaker", to the level that He rewards the actual undertaker. Today as a son, and as a man of great sacrifice, this belief has continued to work wonders for him.

The proofs of these are numerous. We cannot completely enumerate the totality of the replication of the exact grace upon the Bishop, actively at work in Pastor KK's life and ministry. We see it in the way multitudes of people flock into the services at the Master's Place international Church (both Mid-week and Sundays). Dare I mention the massive influx of international delegates from all continents of the world that overwhelms hotels in the city whenever he organizes special conferences? Or the multitude of hungry souls that parks out venues of his international crusades and conferences?

Just as amazing miracles have trailed the teachings of the Bishop right from the onset of The Living Faith Church, nothing short of the same has been the case for Pastor KK in life and ministry. He has witnessed the supernatural power of God manifest in miraculous healings and deliverances in practical terms.

Through his reformative and restorative delivery of the word of God, his ministry continues to draw multitudes, as people from all walks of life are touched by his teachings and apostolic leadership both in two expressions of his church services - Church Unusual and Another Level. One is held in awe as hopeless situations experience a new surge of life because one man dared to believe in the power of honoring and being loyal to his upline.

It is not a surprise that Pastor KK's life is bearing fruits in accordance with the faith family that he belongs to. At Warri, Delta State Nigeria where his ministry is headquartered, God is building a multi-billion naira state of the art edifice, the Dreamland. This breathtaking project fast nearing completion shall be a major landmark in that city.

Today, multitudes benefit from Pastor KK's scholarship program, which extends from nursery school to the university level. Widows and the underprivileged in their multitudes are constant beneficiaries of his magnanimity and generosity. Those who work closely with him attest to an exceptional staff welfare package, one that is rare to find anywhere on earth. In addition to the fact that all staff members receive educational scholarships for their children, they also enjoy special allowances, provided periodically, further enhancing their well-being.

On the home front, this ardent loyalist of Bishop Oyedepo is experiencing what he often calls a Heaven-on-Earth marriage, blessed with four upwardly mobile young men.

For a man who went on a ‘dangerous’ seed sowing spree after he came out from the Winners Chapel, to the extent that he almost came down to zero level, today his level of wealth is a testimony so humongous that it will take his one time contemporaries many light years to reach his height.

In all, Pastor KK has consistently demonstrated a remarkable grace in the three key areas of ministry: Miracles, Multitudes, and Money (financial prosperity) which undoubtedly is the same feat being commanded by Bishop David Oyedepo.

Is NAFDAC Overstepping? Public Criticizes Regulatory Bodies for Unfair Focus on Faith Leaders"

IMG-20240916-WA0029.jpg

"Public Outcry Over Double Standards: NAFDAC and VDM Under Fire for Ignoring Asari Dokubo's 'Spiritual Water' While Targeting Prophet Jeremiah"

The recent viral video of Asari Dokubo allegedly feeding his recruits with ‘spiritual water’ has sparked significant public outrage. This controversy is fueled not only by the content of the video but also by the perceived double standards exhibited by regulatory bodies like NAFDAC and VDM.

While Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin faces intense scrutiny and investigations for his use of spiritual items, Asari Dokubo’s similar actions appear to have gone unchecked by these authorities. This discrepancy has led to widespread backlash, with the public actively trolling NAFDAC and VDM on social media for their perceived hypocrisy.

The public's frustration is evident in the numerous memes, comments, and posts criticizing the regulatory bodies for what is seen as an unjust focus on Prophet Jeremiah. The discourse highlights a growing sentiment that faith and spiritual practices, deeply rooted in Nigerian culture, should not be criminalized or selectively regulated.

Many Nigerians view these practices as integral to their spiritual and cultural lives and are calling for fairness and equal treatment. The outcry is not just about one individual versus another; it’s a broader demand for respect and fairness in the regulation of spiritual practices. The public is urging NAFDAC to redirect its focus towards more pressing issues rather than targeting faith leaders who are part of Nigeria's spiritual heritage.

Edo 2024: Governor Obaseki's Explosive Remarks Stir Outrage, Oba of Benin's Advice Goes Viral

As the Edo State Gubernatorial Election looms, Governor Godwin Obaseki has sparked widespread condemnation with his recent declaration that the election is a “Do or Die” affair. In a statement that has alarmed the people of Edo and political analysts alike, Obaseki threatened that "Nigeria will burn if Asue is not announced the winner." Such a bold and incendiary remark has fueled fears of possible unrest and raised questions about the governor’s intentions as tensions run high across the state.

IMG-20240916-WA0004.jpg

Edo residents have voiced their concerns, criticizing Obaseki for resorting to violence-inducing rhetoric that could harm the peace and stability of their beloved state. Many are questioning why the governor, in his bid to secure his successor, would threaten destruction over the outcome of the election.

These security-sensitive statements have ignited discussions online, with people recalling the words of the Oba of Benin, who recently cautioned Obaseki. In his now-viral remarks, the revered Oba urged the governor to remember that his time in office is limited. “It is good for you to look beyond this your office as the Governor of Edo State because you're not going to be there forever,” the Oba wisely advised.

The Oba's words came after Obaseki allegedly disrespected and insulted him, even dragging the traditional ruler to court. Now, as the governor’s controversial statements dominate the headlines, the Oba’s warning resonates more powerfully than ever.

As the election draws closer, Edo’s citizens and observers are left wondering if peace will prevail or if Governor Obaseki’s alarming threats will become a dark reality for the state.

MC Orobo Suggests Hidden Deal Between VDM and Madam NAFDAC DG Amidst Ongoing Legal Battle

IMG-20240913-WA0000.jpg

MC Orobo Accuses VDM of Suspicious Ties with MADAM NAFDAC DG Amidst Legal Battle with Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin

A public feud is brewing between popular activist MC Orobo and controversial figure VDM, with fresh allegations surfacing regarding a possible secret relationship between VDM and the Director General of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC). This comes amid an ongoing legal dispute involving Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin, where tensions have escalated, drawing attention from both spiritual and regulatory circles.

MC Orobo has openly questioned VDM’s confidence in the ongoing legal proceedings, insinuating that there might be a hidden agenda between him and the MADAM NAFDAC DG. Orobo expressed skepticism, stating, “Something fishy is going on,” as he hinted at possible collusion that could be influencing the outcome of the legal battle. His concerns raise broader questions about the independence of regulatory bodies when it comes to spiritual matters.

Orobo did not stop at VDM, directing sharp criticism at the MADAM NAFDAC DG, suggesting that her involvement in this high-profile dispute may be unprecedented. Comparing the current MADAM NAFDAC DG to the late Dora Akunyili, a respected former director of the agency, Orobo remarked, “Dora Akunyili never interfered with spiritual matters like this,” implying that the current administration might be overstepping its boundaries.

The activist's remarks have sparked debate about the proper role of government officials in private legal matters, particularly when they involve prominent religious figures like Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin.

MC Orobo further alleged that VDM holds significant influence over the MADAM NAFDAC DG, hinting that this relationship could have serious implications for the ongoing legal case. Orobo’s claims have stoked public curiosity about whether VDM’s power extends beyond the courtroom and into regulatory bodies, which, if true, could have far-reaching consequences for the integrity of Nigeria’s justice system.

“Is NAFDAC silent out of fear?” Orobo questioned, noting that the regulatory body has remained unusually quiet despite the legal storm swirling around VDM and Prophet Fufeyin. His remarks suggest that VDM’s bold actions, including defying court orders, may have intimidated even a powerful national agency like NAFDAC.

The public legal battle between VDM and Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin has drawn widespread attention, with this latest twist only intensifying the spotlight. According to Orobo, VDM’s defiance of court rulings and veiled threats toward the NAFDAC DG raise concerns about potential abuses of power in a country already rife with legal and political controversies.

The public reaction to MC Orobo’s accusations has been swift, with social media platforms ablaze with speculation. Some supporters agree with Orobo’s sentiments, praising him for standing up against potential corruption. Others, however, have questioned whether these accusations are based on verifiable facts or are merely a tactic to sway public opinion in the ongoing legal battle.

As the dispute between VDM and Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin continues, the allegations of a secret connection between VDM and the NAFDAC DG have added a new layer of complexity to the case. MC Orobo’s outspoken criticism has turned the spotlight on possible regulatory overreach and influence peddling in Nigeria’s judicial and spiritual realms. Whether these claims hold water remains to be seen, but one thing is certain—the controversy is far from over.

As the legal battle intensifies, the public will be watching closely to see if any further developments arise from these explosive accusations.

IGP Bans State Security Network from Participating in Election

IGP Bans Edo State Security Network from Participating in September 21 Governorship Election

The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun, has issued a directive prohibiting the Edo State Security Network (ESSN) from participating in the upcoming governorship election scheduled for September 21, 2024. The announcement was made during a stakeholders' meeting organized by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Benin, Edo State.

In his address, the IGP emphasized that the responsibility for maintaining law and order during the election would be placed solely on the Nigeria Police Force, with support from other national security agencies. He underscored that no private or state-run security outfits would be permitted to operate during or after the election.

Egbetokun also stated that security aides assigned to high-profile individuals (VIPs) would be temporarily withdrawn for the duration of the election. He highlighted several election-related offenses, warning that anyone found in violation of these laws would face severe legal consequences.

"We will strictly enforce the Electoral Act and all other relevant laws to ensure a peaceful and orderly election. No acts of hooliganism, violence, or possession of weapons will be tolerated. Anyone caught will be charged accordingly," Egbetokun warned.

Speaking on voter security, the IGP assured the public that the police, along with other national security agencies, are fully prepared to ensure that the election is conducted in a secure and peaceful environment.

Adding to the discussion, the Chairman of INEC, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, informed stakeholders that efforts were being made to distribute uncollected Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) across Edo State. He stated that the commission had initiated the collection process in all 18 local government areas in preparation for the election.

Prof. Yakubu reaffirmed INEC's commitment to conducting a free, fair, and credible election, urging eligible voters to pick up their PVCs and participate in the democratic process.

The upcoming Edo State governorship election has drawn significant attention, and security remains a top priority for both INEC and law enforcement agencies as they work to ensure a smooth electoral process.

APC Campaign Council Accuses Obaseki of Planning Protests to Disrupt Edo Elections

APC Campaign Council Accuses Governor Obaseki of alledgedly Orchestrating Mass Protests to Disrupt Edo Elections

The Edo State Governorship All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Council has raised serious allegations against Governor Godwin Obaseki, accusing him of orchestrating mass protests to disrupt the state and the upcoming election. According to a statement by Prince Kassim Afegbua, the Director of Media for the campaign council, these protests are allegedly planned for sometime in September before the Elections

The statement claims that Obaseki outlined these plans during a meeting at the Edo State Government House in Benin City on September 8, 2024. Afegbua further alleged that individuals connected to the killing of Inspector Akor Onu, who have yet to surrender to the police, were involved in this meeting. Additionally, the statement accuses an Assistant Commissioner of Police of shielding these individuals and collaborating with Obaseki's Chief Security Officer to obstruct law enforcement efforts.

IMG-20240912-WA0024.jpg

Moreover, the APC Campaign Council highlighted the arrest of seven APC members and three PDP members by the Commander of the 4th Brigade at Inikorogha last week. According to the council, while the PDP members were released immediately, the APC members remained detained until their legal team intervened.

The statement also claims that Obaseki is encouraging other PDP-governed states to delay school resumption as part of a coordinated protest against the APC-led Federal Government. The APC Campaign Council has called on security agencies, particularly the Inspector General of Police, to take immediate action to prevent a breakdown of law and order in light of the forthcoming Edo governorship election.

Coalition of Bishop and Church leaders rebuke NAFDAC DG for calling out Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin miracle water fake

IMG-20240912-WA0015.jpg

Seven Archbishops, Revered Fathers Lead Protests Against NAFDAC Over Prophet Fufeyin's Water Factory Sealing

Warri, Nigeria- In an unprecedented demonstration of unity, seven Archbishops and several Reverend Fathers have spearheaded a protest against the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) in Asaba, Delta State. Following its decision to seal Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin's miracle water factory. The religious leaders are urging NAFDAC to reverse its decision, which they have called unjust and discriminatory.

The group released a statement criticizing the ban on the sale of Prophet Fufeyin’s miracle water. According to the clerics, various religious institutions in Nigeria utilize materials like miracle water as part of their faith practices, and Prophet Fufeyin's ministry should not be singled out. They underscored that Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministries, the church led by Prophet Fufeyin, has been selling the water for years without prior issues or complaints from NAFDAC.

The religious leaders further alleged that the agency’s actions were driven by personal biases and possibly bribery, rather than legitimate health or safety concerns. They pointed out that the water has provided economic benefits to the local community, with funds generated from its sale reportedly going to charity and supporting underprivileged residents.

Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin, the founder of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministries, echoed these sentiments, accusing NAFDAC of harassment. He maintained that the miracle water produced at his factory adheres to all required health and safety standards, and that the agency had failed to provide concrete reasons for the sealing of the factory. Fufeyin labeled the closure as a form of intimidation and an assault on his ministry.

The protests have gained significant momentum, with many local residents joining the religious leaders in condemning NAFDAC’s actions. Supporters argue that the closure has not only impacted Prophet Fufeyin's church but has also imposed financial strain on the broader community. Many of them depend on the water, both spiritually and economically, as its sale was tied to charitable efforts aiding the less fortunate.
